Tasca do Ricky

Absolutely delicious. When you visit a fisherman town of Faro, you must come visit Tasca do Ricky. Best fish ive had in years. Amazing service and each dish has been made with care and love.

We discovered this amazing bistro around the corner from our apartment in a side street

The menu features local dishes. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Great selection of seafood and grilled meat dishes, traditional stews and fresh vegetables.

The service is excellent. The owner, Ricky is so welcoming and his staff attentive.

We will be back my wife has identified at least ten (10) dishes she is going to try.

The desserts are also excellent.

This was hands down the BEST meal I have ever had. Please please please go to this restaurant. It is phenomenal. Get the grilled fish - your life will be changed. I could cry it’s so good. I would move to Faro just to eat here every day.

Absolutely amazing spot. The francesinha was fantastic — flavorful, generous, and served with an amazing sauce. Polvo was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of taste. The atmosphere is incredible: warm, inviting, and with a relaxed vibe that really elevates the experience.
The staff are super friendly, attentive, and make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.
I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Faro and looking for a great dining experience!

I had an incredible experience at this Portuguese restaurant. I ordered the Cataplana and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The dessert was just as impressive and a great way to finish the meal.
What stood out even more was the service. The owner was extremely attentive, welcoming, and genuinely talkative in the best way. Even though I was dining alone, he made me feel like I was visiting as a family guest rather than just a customer. That personal touch made the whole evening memorable.
I’ll definitely be coming back.
