A lovely couple have recently acquired the bar. We were lucky enough to attend their first Thai buffet which was amazingly authentic, SE Asian herbs and spices grown locally. Great find and addition to the Luz culinary scene.

A lovely place with delightful owners...but the Boom Bar has now been sold and there are new owners. It hasn't reopened yet (as of November 2025), but may again in the next few months (probably with a different name). Sadly, the old Boom Bar is no more!
