The Shack remains an iconic and beautiful place to go especially if you cycle there through the Formosa from Faro. I took two International students there and they absolutely loved the rose sangria. The highlight was cycling back to the bike shop as the sun westered. The light was just incredible. Families of flamingos feeding close to the path. For nature lovers, beautiful artifacts of salt creating crystalline metropoli in the salt pans. (located nearer the airport).

I can't fault The Shack. We visit this place every year. The atmosphere is fantastic. Their service is excellent. Today, we just had ice cream. Normally we have a meal.

Booked the sunbeds which are lovely. Staff are very slow to respond to buzzer for drinks though and probably miss out on a lot of sales as a result. The food is fantastic however and worth visiting for that alone. Lots of watersports activities available via Arturs on the lake.

Nice surroundings but very Bad Service, no attention at al, when we ask for the bill there was a 10 procent extra for service!,
