OMG! the food was amazing!!! We were cycling from Lisbon to Spain and stayed one night in Alejzur and the receptionist of the Vincenti Hotel recommended Varsea (just across the road) We had the pork medallions and the steak. It was probably the best meal of our trip, thank you ☺️

The 6 of us from Canada had a fantastic meal here. Best so far in Portugal by a mile. The presentation was on point and the quality and taste divine. We’re from Alberta, beef country, and the Picanha and orange chutney was the best steak I’ve ever eaten.

This was our favorite restaurant while hiking on the Rota Vicentina. We had the fish tajine and the pork cheek and all the four deserts while drinking the white sangria. Everything was not only tasty but also beautifully plated. The white sangria was very refreshing, the staff was super friendly and the overall vibe was more than pleasant. We spent around 32 euros per person which would be a dream in Florence for this level of food quality and service. Thank you!

This place is very easy to access. It has a great outdoor patio. We ordered the butternut squash soup & Pico Pao for lunch - both had outstanding presentation and were delicisous. We definitely recommend this restaurant especially since it has found a way to create some privacy and noise reduction along the main route.
