We were in Figueira da Foz in October and were very impressed with the weather and the quality of life, the beaches are great but far from the boardwalk although 3 minutes away is Buarcos with great beaches and easily accessible. We fell in love with the place and the people, we are moving there.

Loved figueira da foz. I went alone and you would think I would be bored, but I was not. I kind of became Dora the explorer lol. I walked that whole town (in three days) my Fitbit was very proud of me hahahah.
The beach is beautiful, although the water was freezing.
