Vila Joya

We ate at the restaurant with our toddlers - 2 year old and 5 year old. They were served a delicious custom made pasta from the kitchen, while my wife and I enjoyed the tasting menu. Everything was perfectly plated, portioned and flavoured. We loved it! The service was attentive and done with a smile - smiles go a long way for a nice meal. The view was gorgeous and we caught golden hour over the ocean. Highly recommend!

Came here to try the restaurant so only experienced the food and the surrounding areas, but we were blown away. Location and ambiance was beautiful, staff were friendly and extremely helpful, food was out of this world, and the beach was extremely fun and comfortable. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return, would 100% book here in the future

We visited Restaurant Vila Joya in 2024 to celebrate Lucas’ birthday and had a truly wonderful experience.

From the start, everything felt special. We were seated with a beautiful ocean view, which already set the tone for the evening. The cocktails as an aperitif were creative, well-balanced, and very interesting - a great way to begin the night.

We chose the tasting menu, as we usually do, and overall it was excellent. Beautifully presented dishes, great flavors, and a very smooth flow throughout the menu. The service was outstanding, professional yet warm, and impressively offered in several languages, which added to the relaxed and international atmosphere.

The only dish I personally didn’t enjoy was the pigeon, it just wasn’t what I had hoped for in terms of meat preparation and flavor. That said, this is very much a personal preference and didn’t take away from the overall experience.

All in all, it was a fantastic evening and a memorable fine-dining experience in a stunning setting. We truly enjoyed it and would absolutely recommend it for a special occasion.

We enjoyed the lunch tasting menu at the Michelin restaurant and were seated on the terrace, which overlooks the impeccable gardens and the gorgeous beach below. Everything was incredible -- the food, the service, the view, the whole experience was really special. Definitely recommend if you are in Albufeira and looking for a refined dining experience.

We had dinner here and it was amazing. We had our 5 yr old with us who was being moody and they were so kind to him it put him in the best mood. They allowed him to eat in the ac on the sofas so he had space to color which allowed us to eat in peace. Which was perfect bc the food was soooo good. I’d definitely recommend this dining experience. Just don’t wear flip flops. There is a dress code.
