A truly excellent experience.
The food is claimed to be local, and whether it really is or not, it tastes great. The menu is small, but seems to be temporary by nature. We had the fish and pork burgers and dried tuna slices.
We spotted the dried tuna in the local market, but tried it here. It tasted great combined with the oil and bread.
The fish burger was a perfect combination of ingredients. The patty itself was much more interesting than a white fish burger, but also not too overpowering. The pork burger was different. The patty alone had an amazing flavour, but the mix of ingredients was less stunning that the fish burger. Maybe the pork was just too good. The bread is lovely and the entire thing can actually be eaten like a burger, instead of falling apart.
Service is great. We laughed a lot and got explanations about our food, without it feeling pretentious.
Seating on the roof is fun and cozy. There is a toilet. Payments are only in cash, but this is displayed on entrance. We did not reserve.
Plenty of interesting drinks as well, local specialty beers and lemonades appealed to us.

Wild Thing is something special. Everything is made with love and care using local, super fresh ingredients, you can really taste the quality. The beetroot and goat’s cheese salad is an absolute must-try, beautifully balanced, vibrant and full of flavour.
The place itself is unique and cosy. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s more than just a meal and the finest quality drinks, it’s an experience. not to miss it if you’re in Cabanas!

A true hidden gem in Cabanas. Olav and Veronica are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening.

Wow!! What an experience we had here tonight. Beautiful interior with a terrace with a view over sea. Excellent food; very fresh, from local farmers, and simple but beautiful flavors that went beautiful together. Lovely people who work here. Thank you. Stopped here on an afternoon walk along the boardwalk for some refreshment, and a rest. Ordered a couple of glasses of house white wine, and whilst looking over the menu we were drawn to the bruschetta even though we hadn’t intended eating as we were dining out in the evening. We arrived as they were opening at 2pm so first there. A few chairs and tables outside and just inside are the steps up to the roof terrace. The toilet is on the ground floor and immaculately clean. The terrace isn't huge but tables aren't cramped together either so we chose the one with the best …

Expensive and nefarious place. A salad, a cheese with beetroot and wine, 72 euros. They don't accept credit cards. Site with few hygienic conditions. Too bad and expensive; and besides they don’t give you a ticket if you don’t ask.

There were two of us and had guacamole with bread and bruchetta....that was almost enough to fill. As a second course then the porketta burger or a salad....all great, fresh and really delicious. The white sangria was also great...and all this on the roof terrace 😍 Only recommended

The place has good atmosphere, clear vision of offering guests delicious, local and organic food made on fresh ingredients in season. There is a passion for food here and it can be felt.
It is smaller dishes that can be shared at the table, and a flow of food that tastes great.
