A truly excellent experience.

The food is claimed to be local, and whether it really is or not, it tastes great. The menu is small, but seems to be temporary by nature. We had the fish and pork burgers and dried tuna slices.

We spotted the dried tuna in the local market, but tried it here. It tasted great combined with the oil and bread.

The fish burger was a perfect combination of ingredients. The patty itself was much more interesting than a white fish burger, but also not too overpowering. The pork burger was different. The patty alone had an amazing flavour, but the mix of ingredients was less stunning that the fish burger. Maybe the pork was just too good. The bread is lovely and the entire thing can actually be eaten like a burger, instead of falling apart.

Service is great. We laughed a lot and got explanations about our food, without it feeling pretentious.

Seating on the roof is fun and cozy. There is a toilet. Payments are only in cash, but this is displayed on entrance. We did not reserve.

Plenty of interesting drinks as well, local specialty beers and lemonades appealed to us.

A local treasure in Cabanas!

Wild Thing is something special. Everything is made with love and care using local, super fresh ingredients, you can really taste the quality. The beetroot and goat’s cheese salad is an absolute must-try, beautifully balanced, vibrant and full of flavour.

The place itself is unique and cosy. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s more than just a meal and the finest quality drinks, it’s an experience. not to miss it if you’re in Cabanas!

Great roof top terrace. Very relaxing spot just off the busy seafront. The food is all locally sourced and organic so you really taste the difference. Chef really knows his food. Brilliant concept place.

A true hidden gem in Cabanas. Olav and Veronica are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening.

The food (tapas style) is absolutely delicious, prepared with great attention to quality and flavor. On top of that, the bar offers an extensive selection of wines, making it a great spot for wine lovers. The music is chill and adds to the laid-back vibe, while the beautiful rooftop terrace provides a perfect setting to unwind.

Wow!! What an experience we had here tonight. Beautiful interior with a terrace with a view over sea. Excellent food; very fresh, from local farmers, and simple but beautiful flavors that went beautiful together. Lovely people who work here. Thank you. PS: TAKE the bruschetta, you will not regret it🤤🩵
