Ysconderijo

The best restaurant that we ever visited in Algarve. Food absolutely delicious and presentation outstanding. Great service and atmosphere. 100%recommended. When next time in Portugal will visit again.

Ysconderijo is one of, if not the best restaurant I have visited in Portugal. The presentation, quality, and service for the price offer excellent value for money. The main course will leave you full and satisfied, and I highly recommend the duck or the pork belly. Pair it with a strawberry daiquiri, and you'll be eagerly anticipating your next visit.

What a total gem of a place this is. The quality of the food is second to none. We visited twice and had we been staying longer would have gone again.
The lamb chops, steak, sole and salmon were excellent, and the puddings were delicious. If you are in the Algarve, Ysconderijo is definitely worth a visit - 5 stars.

Everything a very good restaurant should be and offer: nice atmosphere, excellent, friendly, swift, but not rushed service, wonderfully presented, delicious meals...and all that at really reasonable prices! We definitely will come back!
Update 2 years later (we actually came back!):
I can only confirm and extend what I wrote before:
The food is excellent and the service very attentive, but unobtrusive and discreet (the staff wear white gloves to change cutlery).The dishes are presented very attractively, imaginatively and with great attention to detail (you eat with your eyes!). The room is designed so that you can sit in pairs or larger groups without disturbing each other, and is furnished in a varied way. And all this at moderate prices (compared to Germany or the UK, for example)!

One of our favourite places to eat on the Algarve. Been here a few times, service is very good, food is excellent and the price is reasonable (or cheap compared to the UK). Highly recommended, booking is advisable.
