A Casa do Avô

Was at the restaurant celebrating Valentine’s Day and it was superb. The food was delicious, the service phenomenal and the atmosphere very romantic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

First night diner menu for only 23,90 with tapas entradas and fish/meat and deserts...... Soo Good 👌

Later in the week, Cicken with figs/almond was also delicious

Last dayys we had the lunchmenu(11,90)
with entradas and chicken/black pork.... Also very delicious 😋👌👍

We can surely recommend this restaurant when staying in Vake de Parra (Algarvel

Don’t go anywhere else!! This place is fantastic.

We came here for dinner for two during our family break in Guia. Nunu the owner recommended the set menu (choice of meat/fish dishes ) and the house rose- absolutely no hard sell here.

The tapas starter was varied and flavoursome, probs could have fed 4!

Highlight for me was my silver bream. Was the tastiest fish I can remember having bar none!
The shellfish/bean stew portion was again huge and the razor clams were excellent.

Sweet is included- I’m not sure if everyone gets the complimentary port but it was also much appreciated.
Coffee to finish off was proper stuff!

Excellent central hotel perfect for exploring.
Reception staff so helpful. Rooms small but lovely furnishings very comfortable.
Overall Excellent hotel .
One slight comment roof top breakfast need some higher tables to eat also all food is cooked very early little and often would make hot food allot fresher. But this was a minor issue

This is just like a home cooked meal! So tasty and so amazing. There was so much food we couldn’t even finish it all! Thank you for an amazing experience! The desserts were also so delicious. Mango mousse, warm apple pie and passion fruit mousse. They had wonderful music playing as well.
