I've been living in Portugal for just over two years, this is by far the best food I've had here. We were a party of seven, and every dish was perfect. The sword fish, the salmon, the lasagna, the special dish of rice and seafood (can't recall its name). I highly recommend it.

A wonderful Portuguese atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The fish is cooked as I watched by two cooks at the back of the restaurant . It was the best and freshest Rebalo for two that I’ve had while here in Vila Real St. Antonio!

October 14 we went to casa de peixe assado. We were 3 people we ate golden bream big for 2 people and grilled cod fish. Golden bream was served with one big plate salad, with boiled potatoes and with boiled vegetables. It was fresh and delicious. There staff were so friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants here in town. At first, we weren’t sure where to go. I had read the reviews, but the menu looked interesting. We then decided on the rice with seafood. For two people, it’s served as a kind of stew. Incredibly delicious – I honestly didn’t expect it. If I could, I would even give six stars. Wonderful Portuguese home-style cooking with a Mediterranean touch – truly excellent.

One month ago I went to this restaurant. We were 2 people and we ate sea brass for 2 people. It comes with big plate salad, boiled potatoes and vegetables. Fish was fresh and well cooked. Staff were very helpful and speak English... I highly recommend to go there and try there delicious food ..

I have never EVER written a bad review and I may have had the odd lack lustre meal but on this occasion I am absolutely ASTOUNDED at the food my husband Sister in law and myself had.

Family dinner in August.
The service was very disappointing. It compensated for the good food. We ask for drumette cataplana and grilled squid. Quite high price compared to the quality and service of other places in the city.

Excellent service and fresh fish to share, Sea Bass, Sea Bream, or Croaker.
We go every year in the summer three to four times, they have never disappointed us
They also provide a receipt for the meal and accept card payment
