This is a popular restaurant in a traditional setting, offering good value. We opted for traditional meals, cod and the lamb stew. More mainstream choices looked good too. The service was good and made us very welcome. The food was the focus rather than simple presentation. Wine was good value too. We would return.

Very disappointing. And it starts off poorly. Sardine paste in an aluminum tray... industrial. Main dish of monkfish and shrimp... frozen, tasteless meat dish. I do not recommend. The setting is charming but cannot be eaten!!!

Super nice decorated restaurant. Simple food was a taste bomb. The service was wonderfully friendly. For the first time in a long time we were given time at restaurant to look at the menu and choose at our leisure!!!
