The place was a nice quiet spot near the beach. The fish was fresh and sold by kg. It was an absolute pleasure to eat there. Their house wine was delicious and the baby squid with garlic was absolutely amazing. They gave us a complementary salad. They were very attentive.

Honestly the BEST place to eat in Albufeira. It is different in that you don’t select from a menu, rather you go up to a counter and are shown a selection of fresh fish to choose from. We had sardines and prawn cocktail to start and then shared a delicious whole sole. The waiter was so welcoming and kind and the food was absolutely delicious. We also had crème brûlée and a fig, almond and carob Portuguese desert. It is not cheap, but well worth it for a special meal. Beautiful location too - overlooking the beach and sea. Do not miss this fabulous restaurant.

It was a pure pleasure to have dinner at this place. Once you entered the restaurant with its wonderful terrace and beautiful view over Albufeira you’ll be explained how everything works. There is no ordinary menu because they serve only the freshest catch of the day so you are able to choose from a variety of fresh fish. The chef gives you everything you need if you don’t know what to choose. There are cold and warm starters aswell as fish, claims, shrimps and octopus.
The service was really nice, they were aware of all our needs, demands and requests. Also the wine recommendation was a perfect match for us.
Note that the restaurant is on the pricy side as you pay between 70 and 85 € per kilo depending which fish you like to have yet it’s not overpriced. 35€ for each of us (we shared a perfect grilled Seabream) was absolutely fair.
You’ll get a really good value that’s for sure!
