We stopped in for lunch wanting a traditional Portuguese meal. We were not disappointed. Our server introduced me to all the fresh fish on ice. I selected red snapper and said I wanted a small one. He picked one out and weighed it at about . 3 kg. It was perfectly grilled over charcoal with a little salt. Delicious.
We started with bread and olives and a house white and a house green wine, which just means a fresh local wine. Both were a nice balance of flavours.
A green salad with lots of fresh ripe tomatoes and onions was not like February salads at home. We were also served some small boiled potatoes and French fries. My partner had the pork ribs for his main.
The food was fresh and delicious. The server was very helpful in explaining our choices. We felt it was good value for the quality and the servings.

Incredible gem of a restaurant, so authentic and absolutely delicious, friendly staff and charming vibes. By far my favorite retaurant in the region, ww will definitely be back. The way it works is simple; you can choose your fish from the daily haul, it gets grilled right there, and served with fries or potatoes. The prices are a bit higher than other dinners but very fair for what you get and definitely worth it.

I’m not a big fish guy and this was outstanding. Very fresh fish that is cooked on a charcoal grill right in the middle

Edit: I went here again but this time with a bigger group and they recommended us a mixed fish plate for 15 euros per person and it was amazing as well. We got lots of different fish what was a nice way to try fished out. All of us were really full so it was more than enough. The mussels were still my favorite but all of this was amazing as well.
Amazing! We went for dinner after people told us to go here. Especially the mussels were amazing. We were both amazed by the taste, to fresh and so much better than the mussels we had efore. Also the fish was really tastful and the wine was great. Service was good, all of them were really friendly! Would definitely recommend this place. 5/5

Essential spot in Sagres. Most of the people dining there were locals and from the area; that already gives us many clues that we are in the ideal place. We had to wait in line for 15 minutes, but the wait is worth it (don't be scared if you see a lot of people because it goes fast).
