Very disappointing experience, after having been customers of the previous owners for decades. The three of us ordered 'fresh' fish and all found it to be tasteless and poorly prepared. Why serve caramelised onions on 'fresh' tuna, which also was very rubbery? The vegetables were lukewarm at best. …

We visited this barraca twice during our stay and both dinners were excellent. The service was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food consistently great. The grilled fish was the highlight — some of the best we had in the area. Great value and a place we’d happily return to.

We ate here many times when it was the ‘old’ A Barraca but not visited since it changed hands. We didn’t think it would be as nice.

Something of a go to restaurant with window seats overlooking the bay this restaurant has a deserved reputation for good fish cooking and value which it has deservedly attained on earlier visits. Again it did not disappoint with the fish cooking but beyond that..................oh dear.
