We've been to Alloro many times and it never fails to blow us away. Hands down the best Italian food on the Algarve. The Calzone is amazing and the Chicken and Mushroom Papadella pasta dish is out of this world. A little bit hidden away in Baia da Luz but you must go!!! Great team of waiting staff and the cocktails are ace.

Amazing food authentic. Felt like just at Home.
Caring staff - even when busy, walked straight and was given a table served with drinks straight away.
Definitely, we will revisit if back in the area ! Thank you, thank you

The food was very good. Only a ten minute wait to be seated without a reservation. Was a very relaxed service but was a good vibe, very authentic Italian experience. The food was great and they had a good selection of wines. Also, a change of scenery from the Luz Bay waterfront

Well worth a visit. Will go again soon.
Sufficiently good to take friends with us on their final night with us. Say no more.

Enjoyed the meal so much that we booked again for the following night. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and professional. The kitchen team worked together to provide wonderful meals. All in all a great experience.

I have just left the restaurant upset because of the rude behaviour of the manager. We booked a family meal for 8.30pm. We were 7 minutes late arriving as the walk from our accommodation was longer than expected. We phoned to let the restaurant know. We had to wait 40 minutes for our table which wa…

Dined here on two consecutive evening, first chose the Chicken, mushroom and sun dried tomato pasta in creamy sauce, absolutely gorgeous and followed with a Tiramisu and a Sicilian Lemon Mousse, both very home made. Service excellent and prices rival the likes of Uber Eats.
Second visit had the fil…

Lovely pace but it lacks soul. Apart from one member of staff, the rest looked sullen and disinterested.
I had the monkfish kebab and I wished I hadn’t. The triumph of style over substance. It was lacking in taste , the prawns were over grilled, and too much salad on the plate.
It’s cheaper tha…
