I just stopped of here for a quick beer while I was around this area. Service was good and a nice view of the marina from the ground level.

We stopped for lunch after a long stroll around town.
I had the daily lunch special, which was stewed pork cheeks, served with rice and salad. The lunch special also included a glass of soft drink and a dessert (we shared). My husband had the ham and cheese toastie sandwich.
The sandwich (came with two) was pretty pale for a grilled sandwich, and not super flavourful. The pork cheeks however, were delicious and tender.
The waitress was very kind and was able to help us in English. We would return, but not for a toastie 😉.

My partner and I stopped here to get a quick breakfast before taking surfing lessons. The staff were supper nice and the service was fast. We just got some scrambled and poached eggs. Would recommend as the vibe were very nice and friendly and the food was good.

On February 2, 2026, we went to visit Lagos. At the marina, we stopped at Amarus Bar for coffee and tea. I had a heart attack there. Our compliments to these people for how they helped us and reassured us. And above all, we felt the love they were able to give. Our thanks. Marja & René

I'm sitting at a table enjoying a beer and the waitress says you should sit inside because she needs the table. I'm indicating I'm a paid guest and you can't send me in. If I want to sit inside, I'll go myself. This lady doesn't understand the business.

Stopped here for a drink after a boat tour and was pleasantly surprised. I expected prices to be higher since it is right beside the water but they were very reasonable. We also got a tapas board for €13 and it was great value for the money.
