Arte Bianca - Cucina Italiana - Sagres

Super friendly staff and a unique location. The diavola with quattro formagi was excellent, thanks to Pedro's recommendation. The Algarve pizza wasn't to my taste but my partner enjoyed it, and the coração de burrata with prosciutto crudo was also good. Would have appreciated a bit more flavor for the burrata starter.

Arte Bianca – Cucina Italiana is the kind of place that makes you fall in love with food all over again. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the very next day—and honestly, that says everything. From the first moment you step inside, the atmosphere hits you: warm lighting, rustic wooden tables, an open, buzzing kitchen, and a relaxed but lively vibe that makes it feel both authentic and modern at the same time.

The pizza was absolutely outstanding. The crust was light, airy, and perfectly blistered, with that subtle char that only a proper oven can give. Topped with fresh rocket, juicy tomatoes, melted cheese, and delicate slices of prosciutto, every bite was perfectly balanced—fresh, salty, creamy, and crisp all at once. It’s the kind of pizza that doesn’t feel heavy, just incredibly satisfying.

We also tried their pasta, and it was just as impressive. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, finished with generous shavings of cheese and crispy pancetta on top. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in every dish. Even the lasagna was beautifully layered, comforting, and full of depth—simple Italian food done the right way.

The drinks were spot on as well: cold, refreshing beers, good wine, and even simple things like a Coke with lemon felt perfectly paired with the food. Everything arrived quickly, well presented, and exactly how it should.

What really elevates Arte Bianca, though, is the overall experience. The staff were friendly, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. There’s no rush here—you’re encouraged to enjoy your meal, your company, and the moment.

This is not just a place to eat; it’s a place to enjoy yourself. When a restaurant makes you want to come back the very next day, you know they’re doing something special. Arte Bianca absolutely nailed it.

Amazing pizza 10/10 - soft dough, fresh ingredients, fun toppings. We shared the Norma and the Fig pizza which was an great mix of sweet and savory. The fried pizza as a starter is excellent, has a great crunch with the walnuts. The aperol spritz was mixed super well with grapefruit as a twist. Need to come back again!

We stopped by Arte Bianca after visiting Sagres and the surrounding. Great food but service lacks enthusiasm. Our waitress did not show much interest in our business. Maybe she was having a bad day. Anyway, excellent pizza dough handmade next to you.

A must visit for pizza in Sagre. Simple menu that includes a well love respect for local ingredients while also importing ingredient on their own. Their pizza dough is the best testament of a light,crispy and perfectly fermented dough. Really wish I could've have room to try a few more of their pizzas on the menu.
