Must try in Alvor, hospitality was excellent, very knowledgeable host about the history of the building, the food they prepare with a happy demeanour. Food was fabulous, very tasty and it also looks amazing. Wine was so lovely we had 2 bottles 😆. Can’t recommend this place enough, get it booked now

Best meal of our trip! This was the black pork ribs in a piri honey glaze. The meat was beautifully tender and fell off the bone. Service was great, with attentive waiting staff. Complimentary port at the end of the meal was another lovely touch. Will be back again hopefully!

We both enjoyed a superb meal at Atascado last night. We had never visited before. Staff were very friendly and we were seated upstairs in the terrace area. We opted for padron peppers to start, my partner chose the sea bass and prawns while I went for the pork cheeks, delightfully served with sweet potato chips and rice. Both dishes were delicious. If in Alvor I would definitely try to eat here. Highly recommend.

My family came to the restaurant for a meal after my sisters wedding. The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly and attentive the entire night. I would 100% recommend for you to go and have dinner, the terrace is stunning as well!

Been here lots of times and always enjoyed the experience and the food but tonight surpassed all previous experiences. The food was amazing for all 3 of us. I had ordered crab prior to our booking (not something that is on the menu but Oliver and I got talking about food and said that I loved crab but wasn't sure about how it was prepared and presented in Portugal). It did not disappoint it was absolutely delicious. The two other meals that my husband and grandson ordered were of the highest standard. Finished of with a complimentary glass of a good port. Would highly recommend this restaurant to those visiting Alvor. Thank you Oliver (and Ricardo who was on holiday on this particular occasion) for making our evening a delight.
