Well worth seeking out, if just for the antique furniture and decor alone. All very tasteful. I think the name doesn't quite suit the character of the bar. We only had one visit but would surely be back. Didn't have food, by all accounts seems good. Would certainly recommend.

Run by a lovely couple, serving amazing quality food in a cosy setting. We had yge black pork cheek woth polenta and carrots. It was by far the best stew / braised dish I've ever had. Everything seasoned to perfection. The wine was very nice, the service was amazing. The couple spend time chatting to you which added to the experience.

This place is a GEM! A must try if you are in the area. The owners served me up one of the best meals I had in Portugal straight from their chalk board menu and at their closing hour. Gnocchi and Sage was hand crafted and perfect next to the herbed Prawns made with local ingredients and love. They even sat with me over a glass of wine after closing to chat for an hour, an experience I’ll never forget. Really was a Cheers moment! Skip the recommended tourist spots and head here instead… You won’t regret it.

A classy spot in the centre of town. We stopped in for beautiful tapas and great wine. A personal touch with the owners recommending wine to pair with our food. Great chat, gorgeous aesthetically pleasing bar, and away from the crowds. Highly recommend!
