We heard about this newly opened bar from others on Facebook and we visited a few days after it opened. Dave and Erik (the joint owners) are great hosts with interesting stories to tell about their lives with plenty of humour and banter. Great prices on draught beer and cider as well as spirits and wines. This is not just a bar, it’s a meeting place, and they plan to hold talks etc., so hopefully, people will stray from the usual mundane bar scene in Carvoeiro to join in. Overall, a great addition for Carvoeiro and highly recommended…

We had a good experience at O Patio, we got the seafood rice and it was gorgeous! The staff were friendly and the service was quick. A restaurant very close to the beach with a pleasant terrace. We ordered fried shrimp as a starter and the typical monkfish and seafood cataplana from the area (very good).
The service was very proper. Good desserts and the coffee was very good. A highly advisable restaurant.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The food is mediocre and offers nothing out of the ordinary. The ceviche is particularly disappointing due to the quantity and quality in relation to the price they charge; it practically seems like a sample.
