A little abused the prices.
It's all very good except the service.but the prices are a step from the theft.

We spent 10 days in Algarve region. One of our trips was to Portimao. Café Arade was recommended in guides so we went to this café for pateis de nata.

I paid $2.20 for a bread with butter.
A toast was recorded, I drew attention and did nothing.
It's just ridiculous.

We passed the place for an afternoon coffee with typical candy and it was a grateful surprise. It is a local family bakery, frequented by locals, but with great service to tourists. A decent bakery that offers a minimum of choice but did not seem very shrewd to customers.
The pasteis de born average, as well as the rest of the pastry.
It still remains a place that if you are in the area you can have a decent breakfast, but no more than that.
