We visited this pub several times during our stay at Praia da rocha and found the staff and atmosphere good. There was an Irish chap singing on all the occasions that we went there and it was good, singalong stuff. Ww did not eat there so can't comment on food but would recommend an evening there.

please be aware this venue doesnt now serve food !

Such a cozy place! The old man running the place is so gentle. Remember you even if it was months ago since last time.
The Parrot also a funny bird!

Nice "local" bar that had many annual visitors when I was there..The owner is a gentleman and very funny too and his parrot has been there nearly as long as him...A good place to relax just off the main strip..It has outside seating too where you can sit in the sun but it wasn't open during the day…

Slightly hidden from Main Street, glad we popped in for a few lagers which were cheap prices, quirky place, dated but charming and imagine it be a sun trap in summer months, like everyone else found the parrot interesting and funny. Wouldn’t hesitate to return in fact this will be our first choice …
