Do not expect a fancy tourist bar. This is a place where locals go. It is a bit rough but it has so much charm to it.
The trea with grapes, the one with lemons, the sculpture. And I paid only 1,5€ for a cappuccino.
You have a lovely view over Monchique but go outside and just around the corner there is an even better view.

The view? Breathtaking. You're sitting high up, overlooking endless waves of green hills and whitewashed houses below. It feels like time slows down here. I grabbed a cold drink and just soaked it all in—pure peace.
The crowd is a mix of friendly locals and lucky travelers who found the spot. No touristy fuss, no overpriced nonsense—just real, honest vibes. The staff were super warm and laid-back, made me feel like I was part of the place.
The food’s simple (omelets, toasts, some snacks), but exactly what you want after a hike or on a lazy afternoon. Prices are super fair too, which is rare with a view like this.
If you're heading up to Monchique, skip the flashy spots and go straight to Mirante. Bring a book, bring a friend, bring nothing—just don’t miss the sunset here. 🌅

Other visitors mentioned only snacks are available here. That is true, but you can have a full lunch - there are salads, toasts, sandwiches, fries. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is attention and sincere. Initially I thought - oh, why did I bring my family here, kids were hungry and we should have went to some proper place. I take my thoughts back, this place is really nice.
