Bossa Rio Tavira

My mum, my wife and I fancied a drink in the sun and discovered this place at the side of the river.....absolutely gorgeous setting, my Mother had a G&T, my wife & I tried their selections of vinho verde before plumping for a bottle of.... (see photo)
All of us were feeling peckish and chose their trio of bean dumplings stuffed with cheese and pancetta with a piccante sauce, the name of this Brazilian dish isn't on the menu but was delicious.
When we settled the bill, we asked our waitress about restaurants and she told us about their other establishment. Highly recommend this place for an afternoon in the sun.

We enjoyed the Bossa Nova music, the food, wine, and visiting with the owner and the waitress. Outside seating looking at the river.

10/10 if I could. An excellent night with the perfect view to celebrate my partner’s Birthday.
We were here the previous evening for a drink and decided to return for dinner.
The oysters were the best we’ve had since our last time in Europe (8 years ago).
The tuna tartare and black bean dumplings were excellent and the lime tart was perfect.
Excellent selection of wines- one of the best Rose I’ve had in years.
Additionally the service from all staff was 10/10. Our final night in this beautiful town was one of those never forget moments. Thank you Team Bossa Rio

We stopped in for lunch. We thought we'd sit outside as it was sunny, but unpredicted rain forced us inside. Great service. Delicious food. Enjoyed chatting with the owner who made great wine recommendations. Don't miss it.

An atmospheric gem by the river in Tavira – simply unreal! The food and atmosphere are both truly outstanding. Super fresh oysters, every dish extraordinary, and prices very fair. The staff are attentive yet relaxed, creating a warm, family-like feeling. We were even offered three wines to taste without asking – a lovely touch. Can’t wait to come back!
