Super Portuguese restaurant! We've been here for 20 years. Original Portuguese food, authentic atmosphere and great hosts. You feel right at home here, away from the tourist crowds and surrounded by friendly locals.

The restaurant doesn't have a menu as such, but you are offered what is fresh in on that day, we ordered what we fancied,and had a few drinks, when the meals were served they were HUGE! see photos, Helanna who owns the restaurant could not do enough to please all five of us, and we would Thoroughly Recommend anyone to give this Restaurant a visit.

Went here as a family group of 8. We were warmly welcomed as if entering someone’s home. The menu is simple but the food is of the highest quality and prepared beautifully. I had a superb, tender beef steak. Prices were incredibly competitive too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little restaurant next to the road, where the lovely host is very welcoming and speaks perfect English. Her husband is the chef and they cook delicious meals and the boiled prawns are the biggest we have ever seen and day fresh, we came back for them a second time. As a newly married couple the lady owner had some kind advice for us, which was lovely and very thoughtful! Would highly recommend to try one of their dishes when around

34 years today you have been looking after your customers. I note the negative comments recently left and wonder what sort of food these people eat at home. This small restaurant does not pay a mine , typically Portuguese , we liked it very much . The welcome of the owner is at the top. She speaks very good French & English. Very attentive person and really very good meal. A varied and satisfying menu. Very good location.

great value and very well cooked. plenty of choice. for strangers and casual visitors , providing a menu would be helpful. the lady who served us had very good English and explained all available dishes so not having a menu was not a big problem. we will be back .

Good homemade food, where the sympathy of D. Helena makes the restaurant stand out. Very good quality price ratio. Large room and with balcony. At this time of year we have time for two fingers of conversation, where we get to know the stories of the surroundings.
