Casa de Pasto 'O Vitor'

Just had a very good experience in this lovely family run restaurant. we are tourists who do not speak portuguese - though menu is hand written in portuguese. No problem. the owner is very friendly. Concept is simple. You choose a main, a drink. main comes with potato, salad and bread. There is dessert table that you can choose desert. Also had coffee. two adults and a child in total 35 EUR. What good value for money! the food was simple but very delicious. The restaurant is very popular with locals - we did not see many people in the town of Estoi- but see many more in this restaurant!

Just go there. Fantastic fresh and cheap homemade food and excellent service. Try grilled fish and leave room for the awesome desserts. Kids friendly.

Had an amazing lunch at this quaint family run restaurant in Estoi. We were served by the owner Vitor himself, amazing food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a traditional Portuguese meal. We had the chicken and fish as the main, it also came with bread, salad, rice, fries, wine, beer, coffee, tea and dessert. Total cost of this meal was 44 euros 11 euros/ person, unbelievable! We had a hard time finishing everything that was brought to the table but we managed. We will definitely be back.

Loved the atmosphere. I'm pretty sure we were there only non locals, but we were made to feel welcome in this very busy restaurant.
The food was fantastic, no frills, local and surprisingly cheap.
The sardines were fantastic and fresh.
Highly recommended!
