Cantinho do Almareado

A spontaneous visit on a Monday in December. It's always wonderful to receive such a warm welcome without any expectations and to be served such delicious local food. We'll definitely be back in the summer and are already looking forward to more delicious dishes. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening!

Absolutely fabulous restaurant!
We ate here on 2 evenings during our week stay in Guia and on both occasions were treated brilliantly by the hosts, who did everything possible to make the experience memorable.
The restaurant itself is a lovely quaint setting for a meal.
The food was gorgeous.
We opted for the mixed meat platter with T-bone, which was cooked to perfection. There was more than enough to eat, for just €30 each.
Another dish worthy of mention was the Cantinho style meat, which had thin slices of potato surrounding it.
We also had the 2l white sangria, which was lovely.
Genuinely cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious, and the fish was both fresh and expertly prepared. The staff were friendly and professional, adding to the overall positive dining experience.
UPDATE: We went back and we can confirm that this place is worth the trip. The fish is fresh and delicious. By the way, the chocolate mousse is the best we had for a long time.

We were greated with warm smiles from the staff upon our arrival, as were others who arrived after us.
The bar is offering a good selection of drinks with excellent cocktails, after a week we can say the nicest cocktails we have found in Guia hands down 👏.
Experiencing 3 courses was worth every cent, every dish was executed to a high level, well presented and very tasty.

All of the staff were extremely helpful and professional even as the place got busy as the evening went on.

Note, cataplana will feed two hungry people, 😅 excellent.

We will be returning to eat here at our earliest opportunity.

Lovely restaurant with a great environment. We had dinner a few nights ago and knew we had to come back. Food was mouth-watering delicious! My personal favorite was lulinhas (baby squid), but everything we tried was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Service was brilliant. Special thank you to Ruben for his kindness and amazing recommendations. Will definitely come back when we are in the Algarve again!
