We’ve eaten at Cantinho twice during our stay and honestly… WOW 🤍 One of the absolute highlights of our time here 🌊🇵🇹

This isn’t a cheap eat but it is worth every single penny 💶✨
Impeccable service delivered with big smiles, warmth and a great sense of humour 😄👏 You’re made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

The décor is stylish, cosy and intimate 🕯️🍽️ and the wine list is fabulous 🍷🍷 - properly thought through, not just an afterthought.

Now… the food 🤤🔥
You MUST try the ribs 🍖 - they are genuinely unforgettable. We also had the Portuguese steak 🥩, chicken piri-piri 🍗🌶️ and an artisan bread starter with the most delicious pesto 🥖💚 Every single dish was beautifully cooked and full of flavour.

The only small negative? The stairs to the toilets are steep and slightly terrifying 😅🫣 but honestly, that’s it.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing, service was excellent, location is fantastic and ambiance was great to. Overall, simply the best in every way!!

The food was incredible! Lots of fresh fish of the day to pick from, in addition to Portimão staples (like octopus and some of the fish rice dishes). The octopus with roasted vegetables was incredible - tender and flavorful! We also got a scallop appetizer to share and it was 10/10. Great wine and beverage selection. Fancy dining experience (food, atmosphere) without the pretentious vibes or extravagant prices.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and I must admit it was an unforgettable culinary experience.

We tried the cod (à Brás) and the roasted octopus, and both dishes were simply delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned and presented in a unique way - served on hot skillets, which added to the charm. The octopus deserves a special mention - the skin was crispy, and the meat was incredibly tender and soft. It's clear the chef knows their craft!

Besides the fantastic food, the service was very friendly, which completed the positive impression.

Considering the food quality the prices are very reasonable.

This place is definitely one of the best in the area, so I highly suggest making a reservation in advance to ensure you get a table. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
