If you could give six stars this restaurant deserves it. The Portuguese steak is to die for I have had it three times in two weeks. My wife also loves the Pork and Clams. The family are first class and friendly they make you feel part of the family. Our favourite restaurant by far.

This place is so authentic and homey, we felt like we were in a Portuguese grandma’s house. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and caring. They helped us choose dishes based on our tastes. Fish and meat in Portuguese style were very delicious. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a truly local, traditional experience.

Our first time to Alvor and friends took us here for lunch. We had a great time. The staff was excellent and all were family. The food was excellent, and I had the snails and beans that was delicious, along with everything else. My husband had the profiteroles, and I though he was going to eat the plate. Everything is homemade and we are going back to try again.

Yet again a SUPERB meal in this family run genuine restaurant.
Staff are superb and the food is always fresh and delicious

A real gem in Alvor!
