Casa da Fonte

Myself and my partner had dinner in casa da fonte. We had prawns and clams to start which were unbelievably good! He had the lamb chops which he said were the best he's ever had. I had the tiger prawns from the coast and they were the largest grilled prawns I've ever seen and delicious to boot. Everyone who spoke and served us couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, we will probably be back tomorrow to try more of the menu! The restaurant itself was picturesque and felt like something from 50years ago, just beautiful all round!

We enjoyed our visit here for lunch. Great selection of food including the fish and chicken dishes we chose, and very good value for money. Excellent and friendly service, with two staff members serving a very busy restaurant with professionalism and efficiency. A lovely ambience.

We recently visited Albufeira for the first time on our honeymoon 💍 and our first port of call was Casa da Fonte after being recommended by a good friend of mine who recommended me Albufeira ♥️

The welcome and service was first class along with the food 👌🏻 We visited 3 times during the course of our stay in Albufeira, dining during lunch and the evening time. Each visit was the same high standard.

We all had different meals during each visit, but I've got to say the lamb chops are the best we've tasted 💯%. Our 8 year old daughter can't stop talking about them 🤩

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Great features (fountain, tiles, and trees) and cleanliness. Our meat was cooked in the traditional wood fire oven, which flavors the meat. The only downside is the sitting arrangements; some tables are bench sitting rather than chairs, which are slightly uncomfortable and are very close to other tables. But in terms of food and service, it definitely ranks top of the restaurants list in Albufeira.

We found this restaurant spontaneously and ordered a lot of dishes. The service was super nice and really fast. We had two soups, a mushroom with garlic dish and bread with garlic and ham. All of it was really great. For main course we had some traditional food from the algarve and king prawns. The seafood was super fresh, the portions huge and the taste delicious. As desert we had almond cake which was the only thing not really mine. For me it was a little bit too sweet, but maybe some others might not think like that. By the end the restaurant became also really full while the other restaurants in the same street stayed pretty empty. I absolutely recommend this place.
