The food was really delicious and they had a wide range of food. The ambiente was beautiful and we had a great view over the beach. The service was great.

Really great seafood restaurant in Albufeira. The location is amazing and the view is honestly beautiful, especially if you sit in the enclosed terrace. They’ve recently remodeled the place and it looks very nice and modern without losing its Portuguese vibe.
The seafood was super fresh and everything we ordered tasted really good. All dishes done well, good portions, and you can tell the ingredients are quality. The staff were also very attentive and checked on us without being pushy, which made the whole experience even better.
Overall we had a very nice meal and I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the area

Lovely restaurant with spectacular view of the beach and sea. The wait staff were attentive but in a subtle way, you barely noticed them as they served us or were removing dishes from the table. This added to the overall atmosphere of a very nice dinner out; a perfect date night. What attracted us to the restaurant was stingray was on the menu and my husband wanted to try something different. It did not disappoint, the fish had a very delicate texture and it was deboned/prepared for eating right at the table. My prawn linguine was also fabulous; seven large prawns in the pasta plus 2 additional full shell and head prawns decoratively placed on top. We also shared a pitcher of sangria. The fruit used was so fresh, brightly coloured and the sangria was delicious. Sadly, we were so full from our meals that we did not order dessert but the me u choices looked amazing.

Fabulous service and lovely food. We were welcomed, the staff had good humour and very attentive. The food was delicious, we had the bread, olives, butter & pate to share before our starters which we all enjoyed. I had the tuna steak, delicious! The other two had had steak, both loved it. Would recommend if you’re in Albufeira.

I have always wanted to eat at a proper seafood restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner after a walk around Old Albufeira. Based on Google reviews, we chose Casa Del Mar, which was rated as one of the best seafood restaurants, and it didn’t disappoint!

When we arrived, we were guided through the restaurant and offered a quieter seating area with a lovely view downstairs. It was the perfect spot. Our waiter, Marcus, was outstanding - friendly, attentive, and spoke excellent English (though I enjoyed trying out my Portuguese too). We ended up chatting with him about Portugal, the food, and even different words and phrases.

Marcus also gave us really helpful guidance on the menu, especially with the prawns. He explained portion sizes clearly and, in a standout moment of customer service, actually came back with the price before placing the order and suggested we might be happier with just one prawn instead of two. That kind of honesty and care for the customer is rare and so appreciated.
