I ordered the Prego Selvagem and it was an absolute hit. The grilled black pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked - juicy, tender and full of flavor. The combination of chorizo, caramelized onions and the two mustard sauces created a real explosion of flavors. Every bite had something new, but everything worked together beautifully.
Great food, high quality ingredients and a place with a really good atmosphere. If you are in Lagos and want to try something truly delicious, this spot is definitely worth visiting.

I was at Casa do Prego literally 8 days in a row; and that says everything!
As someone who is celiac and cannot eat gluten, lactose, or garlic, it was almost impossible to find safe options during this season in Lagos… But Casa do Prego truly went above and beyond for me!🥹🙏🏻
They carefully managed all my allergies and prepared my meals without gluten, lactose, or garlic, and not just safely, but deliciously. That level of care is rare, and it meant so much to me!🙏🏻
The owner is honestly one of the sweetest people ever, and the entire staff; from the servers to the kitchen, were INCREDIBLY kind and welcoming. I was eating alone most days, but I never once felt alone because of how warm and attentive they were! They created such a lovely atmosphere!❤️🩹
They also often had live music, which made the experience even more special. Great vibes, amazing energy, and food I could actually enjoy safely.
I truly can’t wait to come back to Lagos and to Casa do Prego.
Thank you for making me feel so taken care of!❤️🩹

Perfect place for relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and exceptional service. We had several tapas, all were great. The rustic fries were an amazing combination of crispy and tender. The Piri Piri was nice and spicy, and when they saw how much I enjoyed it, they brought another dish of the sauce. Great music, not too loud to have a conversation.

Really good vibe at this Lagos restaurant! We had a reservation - good thing, because when we left, the line-up was long - and was hoping to sit outside but the weather was not great and they weren't sitting guests outside. Inside, though, had a really good 'vibe' and buzz and feeling. Our server was great, unfortunately I don't remember his name and it was just an all-around pleasant evening. We shared some fried shrimp to start (yummy) and each had a chicken dish for mains - husband had their Guia dish, and me their Maria Vinagre salad with chicken. Both were very good. It does not seem like a large restaurant (especially with the patio closed, but I did not see it due to weather) and it was very definitely a popular one when we were there (an early Saturday evening in late September). We had parked at a central parking garage a short walk away. Recommended!

The food was delicious and the service was great. When using Google maps walk slowly or you will miss the entrance. I posted a picture of the door for reference. The steak with peppercorn sauce was delicious and very tender. The potato chips taste homemade and fresh. The steak sandwich bread, is potato bread, also seems homemade. The sandwich is very filling I was not able to eat all my chips after eating the sandwich. It was a busy afternoon and the service was friendly and fast. The bathrooms were very clean.
