Such a beautiful restaurant, the views over Alvor Bay stunning. The staff were super nice and the food was so different to other restaurants in the area. We had the salmon and we actually got 3 different types of vegetables. We finished with teramisu and almond tart scrumptious. Overall I would give 10 out of 10.

We ate at the Casa do Rio Restaurante for my birthday in October 2024 and enjoyed it so much that we took friends there the following night for dinner.
The restaurant is in a lovely location overlooking the marina and estuary of the Ria de Alvor. It has indoor and outdoor seating and a pleasant courtyard type feel. The fish on offer was very fresh - although I went for the Portuguese sausage to start followed by the Portuguese style steak and which I thoroughly recommend. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and chatty and really made the whole experience even more special.
