Delightful restaurant with fantastic Portuguese food! We ate a traditional dish with peas, eggs and sausage, and a second dish of cuttlefish, fries and salad. Especially the pea dish was fantastic! We came away super happy.

Such a delightful meal at Casa Dona São! We let the chef choose our whole meal and it was all incredible - so fresh and delicious! The service and people were also exceptional 🙌🏼

Fabulous ‘prato do dia’ The local bread, olives and truffle butter was lovely. I had the duck rice and my husband had the pork with cauliflower and potatoes. We were the only tourists …. authentic Portuguese cuisine and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.

A simple and absolutely delicious lunch at Casa Dona São in Silves. The small eatery was full of locals having lunch (we were the only foreigners). Old vinyls playing on a vintage turntable, excellent Polvo a Lagareiro, and a copious amount of the house red. The place is a work of love of three young people who do everything - they manage it, cook, wait tables, organise deliveries. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and great food. 😍😋
