Stopped for a late lunch yesterday and this place is a hidden gem (except for the locals who clearly love it!)
Small but welcoming place with excellent service, a lovely menu of traditional favourites and very reasonable prices.
We enjoyed the soup of the day (spinach), bread/cheese/olives to start and shared the large slow roasted pork ribs for our main. All were beautifully prepared and the portions were generous to say the least.
Hope to visit again soon!

Great local spot with authentic Portuguese home style cooking. The dish of the day is the standout - fresh, flavorful, and excellent value with sides included. Whether it’s meat, fish, or something slowcooked, the daily special is consistently the most delicious option. The staff is very welcoming and happy to help. Cozy, friendly, and no frills. Definitely worth a visit ;)

Hidden gem of a restaurant! We had the black pork sharing board with several cuts of the meat - all tender, flavourful, delicious! Friendly service. Most reasonable prices we've come across during our stay in the area. It is frequented by locals - always a good sign!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Traditional Portuguese cuisine at its very best. Incredible value for money and very generous portion sizes.
The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home.

Very good restaurant outside the tourist area. Family business where the mom cooks herself. Every day there are 2 daily meals, where you can choose between a half and full ration. The half ration is completely sufficient. Otherwise you can also choose a la carte, which also tastes excellent. There are also homemade desserts and cakes. The friendliness and cordiality are particularly noteworthy.
