Quaint little place with simple and kind owners, and great food! I felt at home right when I walked in. Also sell an interesting assortment of honeys, I can't wait to try them!
Honestly, breakfast isn't special, but if that is the only thing you look for in a lodge, especially in Portugal where there are pastry shops literally on every corner, then that is on you!

Popped in for lunch on my son's birthday. Excellent fare and service. It was a little dearer than our usual haunts, but we then compared it to the cost of a Big Mac Meal these days and we actually think we got the better deal. It's a little out of the coastal area, but amazing scenery is to be had in the mountains. Will definitely be back. We had veal stew, beef cube kebabs and steak & chips, along with various local desserts and wine.

We were brought to Casa dos Presuntos by friends from Canada. The food was so spectacular the first time we made them bring us back. The staff all speak English and will give excellent recommendations.
We have eaten at many Seafood restaurants around the world and this place had by far the best octopus we've ever had.
Definitely a must stop for everyone.

I've been to this restaurant several times. In fact, every time I frequently do about 80km.
Yesterday was too bad to be true.
The fried potato with the extremely hard lizards looked like the day before.
My husband's roasted flesh, full of nerve.
I didn’t like it, this time.
I do not recommend.
