I walked into here just like that and the staff were so nice that I decided to have dinner here. I tried the grilled Sardines and it was absolutely fresh and tasty. Defintely recommend it.

We had the mixed fish grill - Tuna, Dourada, Sargo and squid with lovely baked potatoes and salad. Very nice bottle of Alentejo wine and we were given a shot of Aguardente which warms the soul. Brilliant friendly service and the fish was superb.

Traditional Portuguese food to a high standard. A refreshing change from all the tourist menus in and around the square. Good honest food at a reasonable price. Dish of the day includes soup or bread, drink, dessert or coffee, excellent value.

Food was excellent and really enjoyed it. I had the choco frito and was very nice although it can get cold really quick, so less chatting and more chewing. We were a large group and they managed to fit us in very quickly. Food was served at the same time and everyone mentioned it was tasty.
