A popular place with the locals. My husband and I dinner here twice during our 5 nights stay at Albufeira. While it was low season, the restaurant was still full on both of the weeknights we went. Reservation is highly recommended during peak holiday season unless one doesn’t mind waiting in a long queue. Their pork dishes are well worth having. Great selection of good wine. The only down side is no vegan or vegetarian options.

I absolutely loved the food, especially those Chicken fries and veggies. 🍗🍟🥦 The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. I had a fantastic experience here! ✨

My wife and I had an incredible meal here. The restaurant is true authentic Portuguese. From the waiting area outside, to the decor inside.. it's beautiful. The service was really good considering how busy they are as well. When they open there is already a line up outside and there is a line up until they close. Make sure you get there around 645pm if you want to get a table without having to wait a while.
Our dishes were excellent! Perfect execution and good portion sizes as you can see from the pictures. I received a very generous bacalhau piece and the dessert was huge!
We would also recommend the fresh cheese and sardines spread as well with the fresh bread. There house red is also lovely.
We would absolutely enjoy another meal there in the future.
Perhaps one of the best restaurants around the area in my opinion.
Honestly, I felt like I was eating further up north and not in the tourista areas of the south. Bravo and compliments to the chef!

The best food I’ve had during our stay in Albufeira. The food tastes amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful. I had the most delicious seafood rice with shrimps and the dish with monkfish tastes amazing too.

If you are a lover of wine then this place is also something for you. They have a wall full of different wines.

So if you are close to Albufeira, I most highly recommend this place to have Portugese dishes.

The only tip I would give the restaurant is to make their dessert menu smaller to ensure the dessert is as delicious as the food they serve from the kitchen.

The entrance does not do justice to this place at all. It's a great restaurant with great atmosphere, excellent food and very experienced staff. In a way I'm happy that it is not at street level, imagine all the noise and fuel smell. This is an oasis. Traditional Portuguese food, at a high level, at very reasonable prices, especially considering it's in one of the most popular streets of Albufeira. I especially liked the waiters. These are educated and experienced people. You do not need to wave your hand in the air for minutes to get their attention, no, they pay constant attention to the room and are there as soon as you need them. What a lovely spot.
