Copos & Petiscos

10/10 ❤️ If you are looking for high quality and something special, this is the place to eat. My husband and I found this special and charming restaurant by google maps ratings and we went here to eat dinner every other evening because there were so many small exquisite dishes to try out.

Eating here is really an experience and it was our relaxing highlight of the day, you get very friendly and charming recommendations based on what you prefer. The food is served fast (everything is prepared), the service is attentive and thoughtful and the price for the food is absolutely fair.
There are some vegetarian dishes but we did not try them. The non-vegetarian dishes were very good - the meat is super tender, juicy, the sauces are full of flavour, it is just art.

We dont remember the exact dish names but we highly recommend the
- shrimps & clams with wine, garlic sauce (my absolute favourite, I loooove the sauce) 🤤
- black pork with cheese 👌
- meat sandwich (must try)
- grilled chorizo 🔥
- creme brulee
- codfish with onions
- codfish dough

We really enjoyed eating here 🫶 These people work hard and you notice they do it with passion, because what they do is excellently done 👏

Pork stew, pork cheeks and regional sausage were simply amazing, really tasty and new flavours, the octopus salad on the other hand I didn’t enjoy but i believe it was well seasoned and prepared just not for me, first time trying tapas and it’s really interesting way to try many food at once

Authentic tapas experience and everyone should definitely go for it!

If you’re going there as a couple, go for “fartas” (Highly recommend it!) on their menu and we had rosé sangria (a must try!) And their servers are very friendly ☺️

We were very keen to find somewhere authentically Portuguese. Copos & Petiscos is absolutely that place and so much more. It feels like you’ve been invited to the table of a local family who are allowing you to eat all of their secret recipes, which are all absolutely delicious. Do not and I repeat do not miss out on the meat sandwich. In fact don’t miss out on any of it. Lovely people, lovely food and lovely atmosphere.

One of the most incredible meals on our trip! Taxi from old town was €5 meal total was less than €80 for 2 people and each dish was outstanding!

I have no words, staff were incredible, summer chefs special dessert was spectacular one of the best eating experiences I have had in the Algarve! Shrimp and clams and the flaming chorizo were stand out! The flaming is not a gimmick, adds incredible smoky flavour
