Saw the previous reviews and came here, got a table and we were not disappointed. Great food, superb favour and lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Not a commercial restaurant but family run and excellent food. Wine also nice by the carafe. Certainly has that local vibe!
Only 6 tables but if you can get in then do it! Calamari was superb and the hake filets and salted cod excellent.

Best to make a reservation! The couple that run this 6-table hidden gem are so cute and their simple menu punches well above the basic feel and look of the place. The charm is surpassed by the quality and by the flavours. I’ve had the octopus rice, Feijuada, fried shrimp, the anchovy appetizer, and their pudding flan….and always always happy. They only have a handful of tables and every time I’m here they are always full by locals and visitors (surely via these kind of reviews), so I would suggest making a reservation at least a day in advance. If you don’t then make sure you get there when they open and maybe, just maybe you will luck out and get a table. Enjoy!!

Amazing food & friendly service! We absolutely loved the clams they were so good. Must try their octopus rice & feijoada too!

We were there twice but we’d have gone more if we had the time. The restaurant is entirely ran by a sweet couple who makes sure you feel right at home. The menu is not long but every dish is made to perfection.
The highlights for us were the Bacalhau and the Feijoada.
Best food in Olhão, hands down.

Came back to Olhão the second time I was in the region because of this place. Excellent food, great service. The restaurant is owned and ran by a very nice couple. The “arroz de polvo” and the “moelas” are my highlights.
