Great bar on the beach , prices are reasonable for the location. Sardines with rice and salad is great. Can get very busy. Toilets inside. Plenty of seating avaliable. Well worth a visit.
The owner is very friendly (Portuguese run) . I visit every time I come to ferragudo.

Fantastic little bar on the corner of the beach. Excellent place for a sundowner or beer any time of the day.

The restaurant is beautifully situated at the end of the beach, but has the character of a snack bar. I ordered a small sea bream and my wife a tiger prawn as well as a bottle of wine and a beer. This was served with a mini salad and 3 small potatoes. We were speechless when the bill of just under €125 was served. The waiter had promised me a low price when I ordered. An absolute cheek and, relative to what was on offer, pretty much the most expensive thing we experienced in Portugal. Conclusion: recommended for a drink, but not for a meal.

My God, where to start?
This place has a lovely location .... and the good times end there.
Atrocious on all levels.
The service is abysmal, it almost seemed like they were actively trying not to serve us and when they did they were the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered.
We waited pretty much an hour for a tuna sandwich and chips, the table next to us sent food back four times.
It wasn't busy, only three tables eating, the other table I haven't mentioned must had been waiting over an hour, they were already there when we turned up.
To top it off, when we complained our food hadn't arrived we could see the cook standing out the back smoking a cigarette, then an extra beer got added to our bill! we got that removed after insisting.
Terrible, probably the worst service we have ever had.
Go to any of the other bars on the beach, they are all really nice and friendly.
I just wish I could give it no stars but Google won't let me.

Poor service from start to finish - food is extremely basic / salad consisted of a couple of bits of lettuce / two slices of cucumber and two slices of tomato- waiter forgot drinks then spilled one over my husband - still charged us for that glass of wine that’s now on my husbands shirt and all over the table. Has to ask for the bill three times - No one could care less that we left overcharged and extremely unhappy. The most expensive meal we have had since we got here / this is unusual for Portugal normally it’s great food and people on this occasion sadly it was not.
