Le Salto in Tavira, Portugal, is an absolute gem for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Nestled in the charming streets of Tavira, the restaurant immediately captivates with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The culinary experience is exceptional, with every dish reflecting the perfect balance of flavor, freshness, and presentation.

Top. Best choice in 2 weeks, and we did have some great food experiences already. This was perfect. Spaghetti with Tuna and ratatouille. Excellent! Desert was creme brulee and "Molotov of Otilia " try it. It was outstanding. This was my first time here, guaranteed not to be the last time. Thank you.

A superb blend of French and Portuguese cuisines in a lovely garden setting. The grilled fish with ratatouille is delicious as are the gazpacho and cod with potatoes and tuna carpaccio. The chocolate mouse is a recipe from the owners grandmother and is sugar free and one of the best we’ve ever tasted.

Le Salto is such a gem! The atmosphere was ambient and charming - tucked beside a small park and lit with fairy lights, it made for a really cute and cozy setting. It was busy when we arrived, but still relaxed, with a great buzz and vibe.

The staff were lovely - attentive, cheerful, and helpful throughout the evening. We started with bruschetta, tuna tartare, and the couvert to share - all fresh and full of flavour. For mains, the steak and octopus were both absolutely delicious - hearty, homely dishes done really well.

Only disappointment was that the Tarte Tatin had already sold out by the time we got there - we know to get there earlier next time. Would definitely return!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Le Salto in Tavira.
We were two adults and two children, and everything about this place was just perfect.

The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed, the setting is charming, and the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The service felt personal and attentive without being over the top.

The food was delicious. We had Tartar, Steak and sea bream fillet. Our kids loved it and happily devoured not only their own dishes but also ours!

We were also lucky to enjoy a live performance by Al Guitar Duo, who were simply amazing. The music created such a special atmosphere. we honestly didn’t want to leave.

Highly, highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!
