Fantastic and authentic Italian food with super fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is homey and inviting, with friendly and helpful owners and staff. This is a place to sit back, relax, and savor every bite. This meal has lived rent-free in my brain since we visited a week ago and I can’t wait to go back!

Really authentic Italian food prepared by a real Italian chef.
We have been trice recently and had great Spagetti Vongole, and more recently, the excellent Ossobuco.
It's also great for us Brits that they open at 18:00.
The one main negative issue here is the exorbitant cost of the wine; crazy prices. I was going to order a bottle but changed to a house glass. For example, most people living in Portugal know the excellent Duoro white wine, Planalto. In the supermarkets this sells for between 4 and 5 euros a bottle. The price in Mama Mia; 16.50 euros. You can do the maths.
Normally have decent wine in restaurants cost between 10 and 14 euros, so this is a no-no.

It smells so good of fresh, crispy pizza - and it tastes so excellent.
The pasta is homemade and the Bolognese sauce and others were excellent. Nice service in many languages of Europe. The decor is simple but fine. Reservation recommended. Dogs tolerated in the restaurant.

We ended up here by chance because we were on holiday in Manta Rota. A very good choice! Delicious pizzas and also great size. In that same week ate there again. Then we had the lasagna and osobuco. Delicious again.

Too bad, having booked for 15, we ended up with picnic benches... super uncomfortable. We waited 30 minutes to order, having to call someone, then 1 hour for the arrival of the first 4 pizzas and 1h10 for the rest. On the other hand 30 minutes after being served we are asked if we wanted the bill..…
