Welcome back to another one of our reviews , we hope you are are all well 😊.
So today we had the pleasure of going to Galé in the algarve only a small stones throw from the hussel and bussle of Albufeira you will find the area of Galé. This is where you will find this STAND out pizza amd pasta restaurant. You enter via the elfresco terrace which leads into the airy and spacious indoor area, where you will be greated by a central island that houses the wood burning pizza oven. The staff are well versed in the menu and can accommodate most dietary requirements. Now it has to be said my Mrs is not a fan of pizza ....sorry thats an understatement she would rather eat the food on " Im a celebrity get me out of here" i digress, this restaurant had a profound effect on the good lady, she has now declared this restaurant as a firm favourite as a result of the super thin pizza bases and the ' to die for the bolognese with red wine reduction dressing' We can not recommend this place enough. The staff are friendly well versed and the pizza is to die for. his restaurant is a stand out establishment. well done to all who work there we will be back. Keep up the fantastic work. We visited a couple of times whilst on holiday. Staff are friendly but the service is terrible. On both visits the drinks orders were wrong and take an age to come. Awful, we waited for 52 min for starters and 1hr 20 for the mains. Even after we prompted the food delivery . 1 burnt pizza , 2 mains didn’t arrive until a further 15 mins after we received the other mains. The cod was dry and tasteless. Pizza were ok.
