This is the best quality/price restaurant in Algarve, maybe even in Portugal. They have a set menu with several options. The portions are huge, food really tasty, super fast and efficient. In 5 days we came here twice! And when you pay.. this is absolutely cheap: 16€/person for starters, wine, this huge dish totally full of squid, desert and coffee. Nowhere else will you get this price! And the restaurant is huge and clean! I will recommend it and come back next time in Olhão! Please keep the amazing service’

What a great find. Went there on Sunday for lunch. Food was superb and portion size huge. Most people were taking remainder of food home in containers provided. Place was packed full, mainly locals, always a good sign.
Highly recommend.

Bang on place for food ,Atmosphere and quality, Local friend Chico introduced us to Novo Oceano, and how we enjoyed it, Food was fantastic, portions were generous, quality wine at reasonable cost, so much to say we had a few to many :) the service and entertainment from the staff was part and parcel of the experience at Novo Oceano, a joyous local atmosphere is generated within the restaurant, with families and individuals, who certainly like there food, The variety on the menu is suitable for all, we had a selection between the 6 of us of Chicken Shell fis and white fish, along with meat and all were delightful, and rounded of with a pyjama , so fantastic we have retuned a couple of times with new friends and shall be back again shortly following our return to Olhao , certainly off the main Olhao shore side but worth the walk to find it 5*

Large Portuguese restaurant with many locals, friendly family-style canteen atmosphere. The service is efficient. Simple food but fresh and excellent grilled fish. Very good sangria too. The value for money is exceptional, less than €20 for the drink-main-dessert menu! We went there two nights in a…

Very good service, with a always friendly and attentive team. The main dish surprised by the quality and the generous quantity, very well served! The desserts were not as much appreciated as the rest of the meal, and were slightly below expectations. Still, the service was super fast, even if it wa…

Recommended by friends living in Algarve for a reunion lunch. It's apparently less busy in the week, but for Sunday lunch it was absolutely rammed with lots of multi-generational families queueing to get in. Fortunately we arrived early and got an outside table. Catering to local community, so don'…

Food very well confectioned
Care of excellence. However, the workers and table Service workers have too many tables to serve.
It is urgent to increase the salary of these and these excellent professionals and if possible to make a rotation of more effective holidays so that rest and time for the fa…
