Nice restaurant with a view to Faial island. We ordered limpets (lapas) which were made (fried) with oil and we didn’t like them that much. Cheese was delicious, same about fish&shrimp skewer - very tasty.

A genuine island dining experience by the sea. We booked a table for the opening time at 19:00, and the place was already quite busy, with walk-ins arriving right after opening. If you manage to get a table by the window, you can enjoy the lovely view of the waves and sunset.
The staff were very attentive and kind, helping us with the menu and wine selection. As a group of six, we ordered a large selection of seafood: fish skewers, grilled fish of the day, octopus salad, and fish soup as our main dishes. Everything was just as you’d expect from a seafood restaurant by the sea on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
The fish soup was creamy and smooth, with just a few pieces of fish inside. The fish in the skewers was much more flavourful, juicy, and better seasoned than the grilled fish of the day. We didn’t ask what type of fish was in the skewers, but I’d suggest making sure to check, as the experience can really vary depending on the fish.
