Toca do Lobo

The photos of this place do not do justice to how beautiful the restaurant really is inside and out. Located in a valley between lush greenery and charming roads. As soon as you enter, the atmosphere provides you with mixed emotions of a cozy and elegant ambiance. It is a beautiful and serene place, whether you prefer to have a romantic dinner or a family gathering. The food is absolutely spectacular and most importantly the quality is always consistent - all the way from the appetizers to the main dish and finishing off with a dessert brings it all together. They have a perfectly curated selection of wine to match your meal. I have had the opportunity to try the bacalhau as well as the meat on different occasions, and I am truly impressed. The service is always friendly, warm, and professional. The team always welcomes us. Overall, one of my favourite places to dine.

This is a beautiful quaint restaurant!
We had the steak with egg and fries! If you are from Canada like we are you and have steak you can ask for it well done because they naturally serve it extremely rare.
Thank you to the great staff who served us well! Mostly Portuguese speaking but you will be able to get by with English.

Great restaurant.
We went in a small group (4adults &2 small children) for lunch and the restaurant seemed empty but had a sign saying it was only for pre booked reservations . We asked to speak with the person in charge and she was so nice and calm and it didn't take her long to accept us in. The food was absolutely traditionally delicious, really good quality service by the waitress and everything was fantastic . Would highly recommend this restaurant .

Great food, great service, a very nice restaurant tucked away in this mountaneous region. Prices are very reasonable as well. We came here twice with our kids and had a great time!
