O Barradas

We were fortunate to get a table here without a reservation on Valentine’s Day and were so happy that we did! It was beautifully decorated and had a special menu for the the occasion which looked amazing. We weren’t sure we could do it justice so ordered from the menu, helped by the very kind, helpful and entertaining staff. The food was excellent and the surroundings delightful. We would love to return in the summer! We also enjoyed the owner’s charming artwork 😀

So far, this has been our best dining experience during our stay. O Barradas is a truly charming place — warm atmosphere, great attention to detail, and excellent service that makes you feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and for the first time in a while, I actually felt like I was in a proper restaurant where everything just comes together perfectly.
Prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get, and the overall experience was simply outstanding. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the area.

Good restaurant with delicious portugese dishes on the menu. Keep soome room for dessert! We had a wonderfull evening. Keep in mind to make an reservation. We were there on a monday. And even then it was packed. But even without a reservation we had a table inside. But the garden is a world apart! Nice atmosfere :)

Second visit here for my wife and I. The food and the service are exceptional, as is the setting. Traditional Portuguese food prepared with the highest quality ingredients and served with attention to detail.

Highly popular winery restaurant. Booking is a must during summer. Staff and service were exceptional, friendly and charming, and made sure we were well looked after. The menu is extensive providing plenty of choice. The winery offers four types of its own produce. The red reserve is a fantastic splash. The special lamb chops of the day was delicious while the lamb loin in port sauce was a little off balance. Both lamb were cooked beautifully. The leafy garden for dining comes alive with fairy lights and friendly farm cats. Well worth the drive for an evening out in the winery.
