The taste was just average, but the portions were huge; it was the first time we'd ever had a leftover lunch in Portugal 😀. I recommend sitting in the dining area at the very back; it's nicely decorated.

4,20 euros for a crêp like this. it was look alike a tortilla for a burrito wrap but not a crêp.

This place is a turist trap! It turns out the whole block, comprising several restaurants and a bar/cafe belong to the same enterprise/owner and are served by the same kitchen, with the same menu and waiters. I was disappointed.

Nice in town cafe. Large and sunny, with plenty of seating, mostly outdoors on the pedestrian streets near the Praça, but also indoors that also has a great view for people watching. Good pastries, toastas and breakfasts at reasonable prices. Also, connected to one of the larger traditional restaurants in the downtown (Casa do Bacalhau), so you can trust that every dish is going to be pretty good!

Very average, try and find somewhere better. Service was terrible: we had to ask for a menu, and the waitress did not seem to understand the dishes, even though I tried to help her; and we had to fetch our own condiments. Having said that, the food was OK (although I'd have preferred my veal less well cooked, but I wasn't asked). We won't be going again. Not recommended.
