I had a grilled Dorade which was also nicely cooked. Juicy and fresh fishmeat. Really happy that we found this guiet place at the beach entrance. What a happy surprise :)

A Truly Outstanding Experience – 5 Stars Without a Doubt!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at O Pescador in Altura, Algarve, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

First and foremost, the customer service was second to none – warm, genuine, and incredibly attentive. I want to extend my heartfelt compliments to the lovely owners, Mrs Ana and Mr Batista, who clearly pour their heart and soul into this beautiful restaurant. Their dedication shines through in every detail.

A special thank you also goes to William, whose friendliness and professionalism made us feel so welcome. He, along with the rest of the team, was 100% kind, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile.

As for the food – simply outstanding! Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Truly a five-star meal, no question about it.

If you’re in the Algarve and looking for authentic, top-quality food paired with wonderful service, O Pescador is an absolute must-visit.

Sushi was amazing and I had my birthday party there! We even had karaoke and had a bunch of fun. The best restaurant right on the beach. You can even eat with your feet buried in the sand. 10/10 would repeat

Not our first time here. Love the food and the sarcastic humour of the owner he is great fun and very funny. The grilled Cod was nice. I requested it with boiled rice. My wife had the vegetable soup which was also very good. Lovely spot on the beach. Will be back soon.

Great food. Amazing location and service. The small jazz combo was great too. We'll be back
